. . . March On!

Welcome

Our 10th Anniversary!

2013 will mark the 10th anniversary of the first performance given by the Optimists Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. We would like to celebrate by extending a special invitation to all former members to join us for the upcoming season. While former members are special this invitation also includes anyone who has ever played in a drum corps, marching band, concert band or is just interested in having fun and entertaining others. And for 2013 you can expect some new music as well as a new drill.

Wondering about the demands? We know that you want time for family and other obligations so our rehearsal schedule is light (usually once every 2 weeks). As for competition, we only compete with ourselves.

Everyone is welcome at our rehearsals. Even if you’re not interested in joining, drop in for a look and a listen. We love to have an audience. Who knows, you might just think “Hey, I'd enjoy doing this.” Interested? To learn more please Click Here.

WELCOME to the official website of the Optimists Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps.

This is the place for you to Learn About Our Corps, its History, Find Out About Joining and to keep current with its plans and progress. If you're feeling nostalgic, why not visit our Photo Gallery. You'll find photos that range from the initial Boy Scout band in the 1950s all the way to our most recent performance. And it's not just about us. Our Photo Galleries include shots of many other corps.

Visitors are welcome at our rehearsals. If you would like to attend a rehearsal, please visit our Combined Schedule page to learn the dates and locations of our rehearsals.

Historical Video Footage

We are looking for video footage of Opti Corps, the Toronto Optimists and the Seneca Optimists. This is a search for memories, not great technique. If you have video footage that you would like to donate to the corps, please contact  Bob Carell (toronto_optimist at rogers.com).

If you want to see the videos that we already have, please visit our Video page.
