The ? was a fellow in the guard who spun a .303 with Ollie but I can't recall his name. I think he was only in the corps for one year & had military connections or ambitions.

Bill, I think the name is correct. He was a 'friend' of Roman. He was a flag bearer in 1961 and went to the rifles with Andy in 1962. This guy was a real fit dude and liked to strap the bayonet to his leg and not wear a shirt. He is also in the 1962 corps photo on the right end. And yes I think he was gone by '63
