Shakos were worn at the field to practice the 'duck & spin'. A early attempt at a safety hard hat.

This old guy made the best hotdogs, and western sandwiches. That 'building' was actually an old Dewitt converted street car.

Some faces here from the distant past icluding John Carey, the 3rd from the right squatted down and apparently praying! I'm sure that this was a very unusual thing for him to do, at least back then.
